“New York Mayor Zohran Mamdami was photographed in the company of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.”

Multiple independent fact-checking organizations, including PolitiFact, Snopes, and various news outlets, have confirmed that the images purporting to show New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani with Jeffrey Epstein are AI-generated. These images, which often depict Mamdani as a child alongside Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and other high-profile figures, were first disseminated by a parody account on X (formerly Twitter) known for creating AI-generated memes. Forensic analysis and logical inconsistencies—such as the age of the subject in the photos compared to the timeline of the events depicted—confirm the images are not authentic. Furthermore, there is no evidence linking Mamdani to Epstein; the claims appear to be part of a broader disinformation campaign that also falsely alleged Mamdani was the biological son of Epstein.
