“Currys is giving away KitchenAid Artisan Series 5 stand mixers for £10 to people who fill out a form on their website.”

Multiple independent fact-checking investigations by Full Fact have confirmed that social media posts claiming Currys is selling high-value items, such as KitchenAid mixers or smartphones, for a nominal fee of £10 are fraudulent. These posts typically direct users to unofficial websites designed to collect personal information or financial details under the guise of a promotional offer. Official promotions from Currys are only communicated through their verified social media channels and official website. Consumers are advised to be cautious of 'too good to be true' offers and to verify deals directly through the retailer's official platforms.
